Who is RampUp?

RampUp today is a team of coaches who have felt the pain and dealt with the hassle of updating social media, forgetting to post right after a game, putzing around in Canva, trying to deal with Adobe Photoshat, Illuscrap, and Premiere Awful. Good grief it takes a lot of time and doesn't always look so great! We've missed time with our family, been distracted from teaching and coaching, and thought, there has to be a better way...

Where did this all come from??

Sally and Ray Roberts began RampUp in 2022 after both experiencing the highs and lows of dealing with our own teams social media presence and the level of engagement seriously lacking with the business community.

A message from Sally:

As I have put myself in the shoes of coaches and stepped up to ben an assistant youth softball coach, I have found a few simple truths. It is difficult to ask for a youth coach to be able to do everything to make everyone happy. From the emails, to the website updating, to gameday, to what happens after the final out. After the game, handling social media posts and what to do with these photos, how to make the scores look good on social media, acknowleding sponsors is difficult to do once, let alone consistently. We want to partner with your organization to get information out in a timely and consistent manner, have professional graphics that engage your fans, families, and sponsors. This is what motivated my husband and I to begin RampUp.

A message from Ray:

In my former real world job I was a marketer and social media guy. I have also coached Football (and somehow got involved with 9B boys basketball recently) for the past eighteen years. I am currently the Varsity Offensive Coordinator and O-Line Coach for Zimmerman High School in Minnesota.

After taking over the Social Media for the program over the past year, I came to find out how insane it is with the amount of posts, the time, the effort, the frustration with posting after Freshman games, JV games, Varsity games with graphics that the kids liked, the parents liked, the BUSINESS SPONSORS liked. After experiencing this myself as so many Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Booster Club members are tasked with doing this, I knew there had to be a better way to not only do it myself, but be able to help other schools up their game, be able to afford it, and if done correctly, not have it cost them a dime. We're determined to help your program generate revenue as well with our services. If you have an idea to make it better, let me know, I am wide open to suggestion as we build this up and properly service our schools and organizations.
